Muhammed Pig Fake

Danish Imam Ahmad Abu Ladan, leader of The Islamic Society of Denmark went throughout the middle east supposedly proving how awful the Danish are to Muslims. One of his tools of persuasion was a pamphlet with anti-islamic cartoons. Many of these cartoons are the ones that are making all the news right now as being published in Denmark's "Jyllands-Posten", but one of them definitely was not. Although the Imam claimed that this cartoon

was a depiction of Mohammed as a pig, compare it to this from August 2005.

I think maybe you didn't see the context of my post, I was not depicting Mohammed negatively, I wasn't depicting him at all actually. I might be assuming incorrectly, but it seems that by your comment in my post about the fake cartoon, that you believed I was mocking Mohammed. On the contrary the post was clarifying that this cartoon was reported to be a depiction of Mohammed with a pig nose, but was in reality a photo of a man in a contest last year mimicking the sound of a pig. My intent in writing about this was to show my personal opinion that this cartoon was done by the Danish Imam with the intention of inflaming relations between Islam and the West.

I do want to say to you thank you for commenting on this in a calm and courteous fashion, with all the craziness going on about this topic, it is very appreciated. If you have any more about this you'd like to talk about please comment again or email me, I would enjoy hearing various viewpoints on this. My email is in the sidebar on my blog.

From an AP story:

But rallies erupted again on Friday. In Pakistan, protesters burned Danish cheese while others clashed with police. The largest gathering was in the capital, Islamabad, where 5,000 supporters of radical Islamic groups demonstrated peacefully in the center of the capital.

At what temperature does cheese burn?
