Nanny Joe SOS

I posted the preceding before hearing about the kindergarten behavior of David (the center of his own universe) Gregory yesterday morning. What can I say. I've seen better behavior in pre-schoolers. Someone needs time out in the Naught Spot and Nanny Joe from Super Nanny should be on speed dial for the White House Press Corps. What a disgusting and embarrassing spectacle. The press in this country has become a joke and although the Right is frankly "happier than spit" there is still a huge problem.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote that between a free government and free press, he'd opt for the free press. It is essential to the maintenance of liberty to have a forum where the free flow of information and Ideas can exist. Where censorship of ideas is not allowed and people are encouraged to speak their minds. The MSM has become the dinosaur that is eating itself (they've gotten to the head) and internet sites have stepped into the vacuum. In the 1960's the Right had a strangle hold on the press, and this was not right. Today the same people who marched and protested about that strangle hold are the ones with their hand around the throat. Those who marched in favor of freedom of the press are now the ones standing in the way of it.

It seems that Pogo was right all those years ago. "We have met the enemy and they is us."

Why Did They Wait?

Matt Lauer asked an insightful (gasp) question today. Of course what he didn't realize was the question, which seemed straight forward to him, has a nasty little after taste. His question was "Why did the White House wait so long to report the Cheney incident to the media?
I too have a couple of questions but these are for Mr. Liar, or I mean Lauer. (It's early, my fingers slipped on the keys. What can I say? "Deniable plausibility.")
1) Since when does the White House have to report to the Press?
This is America you dear, deluded man, the only people that had to be notified were in law enforcement. It was an unfortunate accident, not an attempted murder or assault with a deadly weapon. Do your own research, that is what you're being paid for after all. That's why you make the big bucks.
2) Why would the White House want to tell the press anything?
I'm sure that somehow this whole unfortunate occurrence will somehow become "It's Bush's Fault" after all isn't everything.
The White House would tell the MSM (mindless, stubborn, moonbats) so that they can:
Blow it out of proportion (Dana Milbank)
Use it for the enhancement of their own agendas (Times)
Embarrass people who had nothing to do with it (D.C. Post)
Put it in their arsenal of bats which they use to beat unmercifully any and all Republicans D.C. Post(or should that read Democratic Consences Post?)
Give it to Dave, Jay, Howard, Conan and any other talking head to get the maximum play and embarrassment factor possible (Slate) and(la times)
Lie about it and or twist it into something unrecognizable as they always do. As (Powerline.com ) points out.

Please do not deny that all of the above has happened before and will happen again. TV and print journalism no long print the news, they print their fiction based on the news. If it bleeds it leads and J. Jonah Jamison, while not a real person is in fact an early example of the cancer infesting news rooms today. There is a reason that many sterotypes continue to exist. There are always those who reinforce them through their behavior.

Many media types couldn't find the TRUTH with both hands, a searchlight, a map, On Star, Netscape Navigator, and the Library of Congress. This is one of the main reasons I get my news on line and my entertainment in the daily paper

LOONY TUNES

In the last couple of days I've read a variety of articles about the latest hysteria to hit the EU. You'd think that the people there would have gotten a clue, but most of them still tout the party line. All they have to do is look at what these anarchists are doing in the name of their Prophet. They murder innocent people, burn buildings, destroy shops and houses and generally act like the animals they are. I'm sure there are Muslims who cringe in horror at the activities of this group of malcontents, but where are they. They are certainly not in the religious leadership, in any great number, it seems. Just this morning the LA Times posted a story out of Denmark, the county most involved in the latest brouhaha, that seemed to prove most of those interviewed for the article, still don't get it.

This is not a question of how tolerant the Danes are. Good heavens, that's like asking if vanilla ice cream is white, or coal is black. The real question that should be asked is: Can Muslims live in countries other than those dedicated to Islam? Are they Muslims first and always, and would they do damage to the country they are living in if incited to do so by their spiritual leaders. This kind of question has been asked of almost every religion over the history of the world and in some cases the answer has been that the religion and it's people were expelled from society. Some for the good of the society, some for the good of the religion. In the U.S. there is a strong history of accepting those who worship differently than others.

The Pilgrims and Catholics came to this country to escape religious persecution. The Mormons (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) were hounded all the way to Utah, after the murder of their Prophet. The difference between these groups and those committing atrocities today, is just that. There were no marches and burning of embassies by the Pilgrims. Catholics in England left rather than cause the murder of innocents in their ranks or in the opposition as well. As for the Mormons, after their ejection from the city of Navoo Ill. the government (who had refused to help them in the past) asked for a detatchment to march through the south west to California to counter a Spanish threat. Did they riot, defame, burn the American flag? No they formed the Mormon Batallion and marched to California.

Civilized people do not act as we have seen over the last few days. The Danes and other European countries need to deport every person involved in this work of destruction. When you live in a country it is essential that you follow their laws. Muslims do not intend to assimilate, they intend to dominate, at least that is how they are acting. If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, smells like a duck and acts like a duck - it's a duck. No matter how you dress it up, it's still a duck and will always be a duck.

A Seat at the Table

In a post on the Weekly Standard this morning, I read an article about Khaled Meshal Hamas' political leader, getting a seat at the international table. That set my mind to musing. Since when do civilized people sit down to discuss anything with "uncivilized yahoos", who are willing to kill and destroy, not just their enemies but anyone who gets in the way. Young, old, man, women, child, animal, vegetable or mineral, it makes no difference to them. In the past civilized countries refused to sit down with those who did not or could not act with humanity toward their fellowmen. Of course there were exceptions. Meetings with Hitler before the 2nd World War began, showed the world how productive it was to sit across the table from a megalomaniac. Chamberline came out of those meetings promising "Peace in our time", but what he and his country got was the "blitz."

This should show the world that people who act in a certain way can not be trusted. When you say you want PEACE but your followers engage in violence and depravity, it should be a clue to those you deal with that you are either not really in charge or you are a LIAR and a FRAUD. Morally bankrupt individuals would not know the right thing to do if God himself handed it to them on a platter.

In our own country we have daily reminders of this truth. There are politicians today who couldn't find the proper thing to do with both hands, a map, a flashlight and a guide dog. They turn funerals into protest and or political rallies. They misuse the publics money and trust. They undermine national security and endanger us all with their limited and myopic view of the world.

We are, ultimately to blame. After all we voted for them, we put them in charge, we believed them every time they promised us the moon. We refused to look at what they did and instead listened to what they said. Why? Because we wanted to believe them, and we wanted to be right, and they assured us that we were.

Maybe we should start over. We could look at our politicians as they really are, warts and all and decide who needs to go and who can stay. Here in this country though, we use the voting booth to affect change, not assassins. When we protest, in most cases we do so peacefully. That is one of the many things that separates us from the Muslim countries of the world. We know and understand the difference between protest and anarchy.

The World Is Watching

The whole world is watching. Embassies are being burned, flags of other countries destroyed, there is rioting in the streets. These are the PEACE loving members of the Islamic religion, the religion of PEACE. These are the tolerant citizens of Muslim civilization. Look at the pictures on Drudge and Michele Malkin and you will see the love and kindness etched into the faces of the demonstrators who are marching and destroying other peoples property and lives. Oh wait, that's right your can't see many of their faces, these are heroes who hide behind masks and rags.

Is this not enough to prove to even the most hard core liberal that these people will stop at NOTHING to force their belief systems on others. They do NOT want world peace. They want world domination and will use any and all means to get what they want. Please understand that in a world run by these fanatics there will be no freedom. Hollywood you and your ilk will be no more. Freedom will become as extinct as the Dodo.

Women of the world should be especially concerned. With these people in charge not only will you not be able to vote, you won't be able to walk down the street with out a male escort. Behind the veil your daughters and granddaughters will not be able to go to school. They won't be allowed to read, sing, dance or do anything except be the slave of some abuser, who is more interested in the 72 virgins he's going to get dying for Allah, than in taking care of his own family.
There are some who will say that this is too harsh, or that this is hate speech. This is fact! The stories are there for anyone who has the courage to open their minds and search them out. Please see the reality of a world controlled by fanatics who hate the thought of anyone having a choice in life.

If you are a Christian you will recognize who is the author of the idea of a world where there is no freedom.
