I'm sorry

I apologize in advance. I wish I were different, felt different, saw things differently. But I don't.

I hate people. Individuals I love, my family, my friends, and people who live everyday just trying to get along and not damage any one else. The rest of you, and you know who you are, I have no use for whatsoever.

What kind of things do we find in the news today, that have encouraged this feeling of revulsion for the species:

In sick teen we find a court system run amok, telling a sixteen year old and his parents that he must submit to a procedure which left him so weak last year that he could hardly walk. Apparently the pursuit of happiness only counts if it's social services brand of happiness. Who gets to decide how someone dies? God and the person doing the dying I would think. Then again I am Conservative and as we have all been told by the MSM all conservatives are just biding time until we can do away with all of the children and old people in the world.

Bill Clinton is supporting Lieberman. Who cares? Why would anyone even want his support? He is a liar, a cheat, a traitor and a rapist. This is the kind of support the democratic party is courting. He ought to be in jail and his little wife too. The whole Vince Foster "suicide" reads like a bad detective novel. Does anyone really believe in these people anymore? Of course they do, that's why I hate people as a species, today. They just will not learn from their mistakes. No facts must be allowed to affect their personal prejudices.

Contrary to some opinions most conservatives are NOT overly concerned with what goes on inside other peoples bedrooms. However when the issue of marriage is concerned I have a really hard time ignoring the new assault on what, for millenniums has been a sacrament within the religious community. If the homosexual community wants to enter into civil contracts that's their business. George Michael and his partner can do whatever they wish but it is a travesty for it to take place within the edifice of a church. Homosexuality is not approved of in the Bible, either in the Old or New Testament and since in the beginning God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve his purpose was for the "breeders" to go forth and multiply and replenish the earth. No matter what kind of ceremony, or how long they co habit, two members of the same gender will NEVER be able to procreate without drastic medical assistance. Since there is no way to commingle these two divergent ideas, maybe a strictly secular approach would be better. But no. Can't have that. There would be no conflict, no dissention, and people just can't get along without being at each others throats.

Here's a good one. I"ll bet if I said a similar thing about this woman, she'd have me arrested for verbal assault, hate crimes, and what not. That she did this in front of children is mind boggling. I hope some time, some where it is brought home to her just what kind of damage she's done, not to Pres. Bush but to the young minds, who looked up to her. She's one of the reasons I hate people today.

And last but not least are the people of the Middle East I have absolutely no patience with any of them and believe that, like Northern Ireland, the best use of that land would be either a huge nuclear reactor (for energy) or a glass parking lot. Those people over there don't deserve peace. They deserve exactly what they have. You can call it Karma or Gods justice, I call it blind, deaf and dumb stupidity. They are poster children for why I hate people today.

Hopefully this mood won't last long. Most of the time something good happens and I can drag myself up to a better place. It would probably help if I just didn't watch the news or read the blogs. Soon I'll be tending the grandbaby so I won't have time. I'll be spending my time with Big Bird and Elmo. Maybe then I won't have reason to hate people as a species, or at least I won't care. There is something about babies that make one feel life might just be worth while, at least in my universe. Not so in the real world I know. Just ask George Tiller abortionist extraordinare. He knows the worth of a soul in this world-that's what makes him rich. I just hate people.

Back to Nature

Al Gore the poster child for environmental panic attacks, has decided that he and his family are going to live more according to their environmental beliefs. Gore

Although I admire most peoples willingness to put their money where their money is, in this case, not so much. I have spent part of the last 4 summer seasons doing the reenacting thing. Although most of the time I was a paid interpreter sometimes I was just a volunteer. Sooooo, I have lived in a simpler time and let me tell you that Mr and Mrs. Gore wouldn't last one day much less a week in 1870 and let's face it that is what Gore and his ilk are after.

Why don't we just turn off our electricity, give up our cars, and live closer to nature? Well Mr. Gore because:
It's hot, not just warm. Here in the middle of the country it was over 105 degrees for several days last week. In the south it is more humid and that just makes it hotter. The heat is debilitating and dangerous. Which is why people did not live for a century then.
In the winter it's cold, well frigid really. There aren't enough trees to burn to keep us all warm and coal is expensive and very dirty. People die from hypothermia as well.
Does this mean Democrats are in favor of killing old people and children by denying them the basic opportunities afforded by todays technology? Isn't that worse than Republicans trying to starve people by reducing school lunches and food stamps?

Let's think about how this country would defend itself against it's enemies. Although Iran wants everyone to think they are still in the 14th century, the reality is they only want their women to live there. ( Iranian men are so afraid of the inherent superiority of the feminine mind that they must imprison their females to keep them from taking over the country and disposing of those men who are not worth the powder and shot to blow them to Allah and back) In reality they take advantage of all of the technology that the west has to offer. Hypocrites you say, sly I counter. Like a fox they wait for their unsuspecting prey and then they (surprise) attack. Without new technology and the people to use it, we would be overrun within days. If Gore were president today I would not be allowed to read the news much less write my own blog. Nor would I be able to express any opinion but that of my husband, because the Muslim menace would have already won.

The fact of the matter is that although conservation is very important, people like Gore do more harm than good. They cause those on the fence to drift either to the other side or to do nothing at all. Al Gore has no real belief in anything that he can not see or feel. Therefore he does not believe that it matters very little what happens for good or ill on this old world. Eventually it will be judged and at this point it will be found wanting. Most people are not good steward over what they have and that in itself will doom them, whether they leave the world before or after the end.

Although I don't like to be overtly religious in this forum, I feel I must just say that: God will not be mocked. Eventually he will expect payment. You can call it Karma if it makes you feel better but, whatever goes around comes around. Finally something you can bet on, it's a sure thing.

Excuse me!

Pardon moi, as Miss Piggy might say.
I read a fascinating article from Oklahoma today about a federal task force rounding up illegals in a operation named acurately "Return to Sender." here

The most interesting piece in the article was the following:

Statewide, approximately 120 illegals are earmarked for arrest. Specific crimes are unknown, but of those arrested in other states, 146 were for sex offenses, 367 for gangs, and 640 fugitives previously told to leave the US.

Come again? Specific crimes unknown? How about entering the country illegally? What about fraud, theft, and pandering? When you take money or services from the govenrment or privite agencies or citizen that's theft and when you do it by pretending you are due said services that's fraud. I'll grant you pandering is harder to prove but it still applies in many cases. When are we going to wake up and smell the coffee burning.

I have absolutely nothing against people of hispanic heritage. They should be able to live in any country they wish, as long as they go there LEGALLY. I feel the same about Western Europeans, Eastern Euopeans, Asians, and even Canadians (not the French kind however- we must have some standards after all - just kidding! Really!)

The issue is not ethnicity, it's legality. Why would anyone believe that someone who flaunts the laws of a country by ignoring their borders and the laws that protect them would obey any other law that they felt impinged on their comfort? It is time for the federal government to overhaul immigration and stop the flow of all illegals into this country. Then they can deal with the problems we already have here.
Those who are working to become citizens, are tax payers, have jobs, essentially those who are not a drain on services, can stay. Those who are here for a free ride, get that ride back to their own country. Then maybe we can deal with the other drains on our society, the Jerry Springer, Maury Povich brigade. We may not be able to send them away but we can make their lives so uncomfortable that they either change their behavior or leave. That's a win-win for us all.
