Surprise, surprise, surprise!

The powers that be in Washington, you know the elite, those in the know, the geniuses are surprised, confused, verklempt.

They don't understand how people could be so against their new immigration bill, other wise know out here in the hinterland as the Amnesty bill. Obviously they haven't been paying attention. They don't understand that most communities are trying to create laws to do that which the federales refuse to do. They are taking matters into their own hands because they don't want more aid, they want criminals in their communities found and deported. They want to stop spending their moneys on people who don't belong here, who didn't come here legally and who lie, cheat and steal to stay here. These communities don't think the illegals who ignored our sovereign borders and the laws that govern them, will suddenly become law abiding citizens. They believe these immigrants will continue to ignore the rules and laws they don't like or find inconvenient. They don't appreciate it that they have to go to work everyday, pay taxes, obey ALL the laws and nobody else pays for their children to go to college. It is not a question of bigotry or racism, it is a question of equality. If Americans disobey the laws of this country they go to jail or are fined. If illegals disobey laws we give them citizenship? How is this fair? There are more reasons than these that make people anti-illegal immigrant, but these are the most egregious. People in this country do not hate "brown People". We are not however willing to sell our or our children's heritage, home and culture down the drain. Already many communities are drowning in illegals. They drain resources meant for legal citizens, straining both budgets and tempers.

During the Irish Famine (or to use their term- the Great hunger) from 1848 to about 1854 hundreds of thousands of Irish were turned away from the ports of this country. Many were sick and dying with nowhere to go. Most of them were illiterate and unemployable, with no trade or skills and no family to take them in. The government did not turn them away because they were heartless. They turned them away because they did not have the manpower, facilities or the resources to care for the ill nor could they keep safe the citizens who would come in contact with the new immigrants. The first duty of government is to protect it's own citizens.

Contrary to the Pro-Illegal groups claims this has nothing to do with the color of skin or the country of origin. It has to do with the ability of a country to control who can come in and who can't. Look at it this way. You have control over who enters your house and who doesn't. No one is allowed to walk into your house without your permission. If they do you call the police and the "man" comes to arrest them. Our borders should be the same. Our politicians should care more about what legal citizens think than what criminals think. I think every politician who had a part in this debacle should be voted out of office or recalled. Send a message to Washington and Mexico. Just say NO!

Immigration solution

With profound apologies to Mr. Jonathan Swift.

It seems to me that many in this country, including the genius' we the people have sent to Washington are missing the boat on immigration reform. Many in the amnesty camp continue to blather on and on about "jobs Americans" won't do and compassion for the poor unfortunates in the world. Daily we are deluged with stories about these "average Americans" who pay taxes (under assumed names and either made up identities or stolen ones) who just want a better life. If this is indeed what Liberals believe than I think I have the perfect answer for them and our Hispanic brethren, waiting with bated breath at the border for Congress to give them the green light to come flooding in and join their families already in residence in this, the greatest country in the world.

Since all these folks, who by way circumvent our laws, lie, steal and cheat in order to come here and stay here are the preferred citizens in this country, at least by liberal Democrat standards, I think it behooves those of us who still believe in truth, justice and the American Way i.e.. obeying laws, working hard, sacrificing, attending church, getting an education, paying our own way and all those other outdated and restrictive mores, to leave.

I have the perfect place for us to go.

Mexico. That's right. After all people are dying to get out of there and on to the yellow brick road that is the immigration super highway. They can't wait to infest our cities with uneducated, poor, ignorant, corrupt, criminal and unemployable citizens. Why should those of us who go to work every day, pay our taxes, send our children to school, volunteer, shop, and vote continue to support these people. It would be much better if we went somewhere no one else wants to be and make it into the kind of place we would like to live in. Mexico has oil, gas and mineral reserves. The climate is warm but just think of the resort areas we could build on both coasts. With what our farmers have learned in the last half century, we could grow more and better foods with less and less workers. We could build schools, in which our children would be encouraged to not only pray but to speak of their faith during classroom discussions. We'd have no Hollywood do gooders to trample on our rights. They'd all be pretty busy working to pay the taxes to keep their new citizens in Sangria and Nachos. Our government building would contain wise sayings from not just secular but religious thinkers as well.

Plus we could improve the roads, building new and better highways to ship more and more illegal hispanics into the United states. We could improve the harbors along both coasts, providing new improved facilities for not only Caribbean, African, and Middle Eastern illegals but with Pacific harbors the trade in Asian, Indian and Polynesian migrants would skyrocket. All of these people, their countries could be hit up for cash. With all this money rolling in it would be easy to set the drug cartels on each other, so that they annihilate each other, leaving more money to be put into the infer-structure, creating jobs and opportunities for more and more people.

While the United States slips into 3rd world status, due in large part to a citizenry that believes in nothing but "me first, last and always" and " do unto others before they do unto you", our "New country Name Here" ( name change would have to be one of the first orders of business) would sprint passed them. Fueled by a populace that believed in similar values and mores and unimpeded by lawmakers whose first and only concern is "what is good for me" we will out strip not only the US but the European Union as well. With little dependence on Middle Eastern oil, and stringent immigration and naturalization laws, our new country would become what the American founding fathers envisioned when they signed the Declaration of Independence. A nation by the people, for the people and of the people. A law obeying, God fearing, country where there is freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. A country where people are not protected from themselves, and where lawyers are held to strict morality rules. Most of all, a country United, without special interest groups lobbyist and advisors, without a subjective subversive media and without a higher education system that seeks to tear down what we have tried so hard to build.

I believe the time is coming when this will not just be a idle thought but a obvious reality. Oh and when we do come and take over the country, English will be the first and only language in the government. Since we learned the game from our visitors from the south, it seems only fair to be obedient to their rules.

Worst?

Jimma' Carter, the man who brought beer guzzling, girl chasing Brother Billy to the White House. The man who single handedly sent this country into collective depression, due in part to embarrassment brought about by his ineptitude. The man who was set upon by a bunny while fishing. The man who allowed American Citizens and property to be seized by terrorists and held for over a year. This is the man who thinks Pres. Bush is the worst president?

Let us take a little stroll down memory lane here.

The Malaise Speech- Written by Chris Matthews ( there's a shocker) Instead of uniting the country, instead of galvanizing the citizens, instead of comforting the populace the whole country was given a Zoeloft tablet and told not to call him in the morning. Everything that was wrong with the country was the people's fault. They were lazy, stupid, ignorant, of course these weren't the words used but you get the idea.

Meanwhile Carter is busy requesting resignations from every cabinet member (he accepted five) whether they had anything to do with any of the problems or not. As usual instead of looking for REAL solutions he ran around turning down thermostats and wearing sweaters.

In the midst of all this energy concern he allows a bunch of thugs in Iran to take over our embassy and imprison our countrymen, with no reprisals at all. Here is the seed that has spawned the terrorists of today. The belief that America is weak, and unwilling to fight for what is ours. Instead of using the force necessary to take back our hostages and show others in the region that we mean business, as Reagan did to Libya several years later, we now have to deal with the decedents of these goons.

He is also involved in the Salt treaties which the Soviets used as confetti (since they violated them on an almost daily basis), scuttled the B1 bomber program (thus jeopardizing military readiness and costing jobs), gave the Panama Canal to the Panamanians (who neither built it, nor paid for it) as well as basis in the Philippines (which have become hotspots for Islamic terrorist camps, since we've left the area).

Jimma Carter doesn't know how to conduct foreign policy, because he has never learned that "people are different". They think differently, feel differently, act differently than we do. They want different things from life. We in the West would like to have enough to eat, a clean place to sleep, and the freedom to enjoy the results of our work. In the Middle East they want everyone to be just like them, and if it means they have to die or they have to kill all of us, that works for them. He has never understood that WE are not the danger to the world. THEY are the danger, it is they who seek to control, and destroy.

Like the good Demoncrat he is, Carter will never take off his rose colored glasses. He will go through life believing that all men want the same things, just as most liberals believe that men and women are the same (The logic for that goes something like this. A dog has fur. A dog has teeth. A dog has a tail and ears. A dog has eyes, a nose and a mouth. There fore any animal that has fur, teeth, a tail, nose, mouth, ears and eyes must be a dog)

I know Carter will never change but could someone please put a muzzle on this man? I don't mind that he embarrasses himself but every time he opens his mouth he embarrasses the rest of us too.

Latter-Day Saints believe

"They don't believe in God the way I do, but by definition, they believe in God."- the Reverend Al Sharpton.

Truer words were never spoken. He's right we (Mormons) don't believe in God the way he does. "We believe in God the Eternal Father, in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost."-1st. Article of Faith.

We also believe in the truth, justice and the American Way, in Mom, Dad and apple pie, in being honest, true, chaste and benevolent and in doing good to all men.

We believe in defending our families, friends, country and people. We believe that all men are created equal and have a God given right to be as smart or stupid as they chose.

We believe in being good citizens and obeying the law. (Hense anyone practicing any activity that is against the law, for example polygamy, is not a member of this church, no matter what they say.)

We believe in and read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, which we believe is another testament of Jesus Christ.

We believe in spreading the Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and many of our young men use their own money to pay for missions to diverse places all over the world. While their peers are going to school, working, partying, et al., they are being cursed at, shot at, chased by dogs, had things thrown at them and occasionally listened to.

We believe that children are a gift from God. That they should be protected and taught. They should be encouraged to do well in school, work and play. They should be kind, helpful and courageous.

Is this all we believe. It is not. Most of all we believe in the 2 great commandments found in Matthew Chapter 22.

37 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

That is what we believe. By his words and actions it is patently apparent what Mr. Sharpton believes. I'm grateful he doesn't believe in the same God that I do.

The Children Plague

It's finally here . The diatribe against children with reference to Global Warming and of course SAVING THE PLANET.

This is not new. This kind of nonsense has been circulated for decades. Some enterprising journalist lately have been doing interesting stories on the people who bought into the anti- procreation propaganda. Many who didn't have children not because they couldn't but because they didn't want to ( because they were selfish, short sighted, or bought into the environmental manure) are now approaching middle age. They are having to care for elderly parents ( or pay for their care) and are beginning to wonder who will care for them.

The perfect LWGH (left wing Godless Horde) answer of course is the state. Who will check to make sure they personally are getting the care they need or pay for, over worked case workers, state representatives, social service agencies or watchdog groups? With so many people to care for will they be the ones to slip through the cracks? Will they spend their declining years as wards of the state, at the mercy of preditiors who prey on those weaker than they.

Is this the reason to have children, of course not. It is however one of the functions of families and has been since time immemorial. This is how most human beings care for each other. Parents care for their children when they can't care for themselves, and children care for their parents when they can't care for themselves. Karma, ying, yang, whatever you want to call it. Children should learn valuable lessons from parents and then become parents themselves who train up children to be better adults, who care for their parents as well as those who can't care for themselves. Society continues to progress, improve and people take care of each other. Of course this is the ideal, but without families society will fall and anarchy and chaos will prevail.

The environmental Nazi's look forward with joy to such an event. It will purge the planet of the infestation that is "Man", which is their goal. It is someone else's goal as well, but many refuse to believe in him. He seeks for everyone to be miserable like unto himself. He seeks the destruction of all peoples physically as well as spiritually. Many in this world play right into his hands and lose themselves in selfishness, banality, and meanness. They ridicule those who believe in anything greater than humanity while promoting hubris and humanism. Those who think they are so sophisticated are really the pawns of one who seeks their debasement and ruination. One has only to look at the fruits of permissiveness, liberalism, and selfishness to find intolerant, abusive and mercenary behavior.

Gag Me

My question to the Department of Defense on the Army's gag order on Blogs and e-mails from the front:

Have you people lost your minds! Isn't it bad enough that the DRIVE BY MEDIA have gone out of their way to lose this war, now you have to help them. The only way the vast majority of people know anything close to what's happening in reality is due to the blogs, and you're trying to stop the flow of REAL information. This is so those editors sitting in their plush offices, drinking their lattes and eating granola can lie without being subject to public scrutiny.

Maybe instead of punishing those who are telling the truth, you ought to practice what you preach. When something goes wrong admit it and take steps to fix it. This is the only way to get people to trust what you do and say. Instead you kill the messenger. That worked really well in Ancient Rome too, right until it burned to the ground. Keep picking those great examples and we'll be joining Bagdad as prisoners of islamofacists.
